Venice is a private, uncensored platform for generating text, images and code, and VVV is the token that owns a share of its capacity: staked VVV earns the token's emissions and buys access to Venice's API, and DIEM, minted against staked VVV, is a standing allowance of a dollar of that access every day, as a token of its own.

Staking is the center of it. VVV staked on Base becomes sVVV one for one and starts earning emissions every second; leaving means initiating an unstake, waiting out a seven-day cooldown and then finalizing it. Lock sVVV and the staking contract mints DIEM along a supply curve that gets more expensive as more of it exists; the locked stake keeps earning, at a lower rate, and comes back when the DIEM is burned.

The returns are steady and the work is constant. Rewards accrue by the second and do nothing until claimed or compounded. An unstake that cools down sits idle until someone finalizes it. The curve moves every time anyone mints or burns, so the moment minting DIEM beats buying it comes and goes without notice.

Every step of a stake is a step in a plug: staking, compounding rewards back into the stake, claiming them, starting and finalizing an unstake, minting DIEM against the stake and burning it, with the amounts each step reports flowing into the next. A stake made for the Plug account runs on a schedule or a condition; a stake the wallet holds is worked by the wallet's own transactions.

Rewards compounded every day without a reminder. An unstake finalized in the first block it can be, and the VVV swapped or restaked in the same run. DIEM minted the moment the curve's quote crosses the market price, and burned when it turns.

The stakers who earn the most from Venice are not more attentive than anyone else. Their stake runs itself.
