Virtuals · Acts onchain

Locks VIRTUAL in veVIRTUAL for a term of weeks, opening a lock for the account that sends it. The caller approves the veVIRTUAL contract and calls stake, which pulls the VIRTUAL and opens a lock that only the caller holds: veVIRTUAL moves no lock between accounts, and the lock's VIRTUAL counts as the caller's voting power. Staked as the plug's only write, the wallet sends it and the lock is the wallet's. Staked beside other steps, the Plug account stakes and keeps the lock, and every later withdraw, extend and auto-renew switch on it runs from the Plug account, which can delegate its voting power to the wallet. With auto-renew on the term is the contract's maximum, held from every moment until it is switched off; an expiring lock decays to nothing over its term and is withdrawable once the term ends. Reach for it to lock VIRTUAL the moment it lands, coiling a swap's output into the stake in the same run.
