Arcadia · Acts onchain

Borrows a lending pool's asset against an Arcadia Margin account. The account's owner calls the pool's borrow, which books the amount plus the pool's origination fee as the account's debt and pays the amount to the owner; the action returns the amount received. Only a Margin account whose creditor is the pool lending the token can borrow it, and the account refuses the borrow unless its collateral value stays at or above its debt plus the creditor's minimum margin. The debt accrues the pool's interest until it is repaid, and an account whose liquidation value falls below its debt plus that margin is liquidated by Arcadia's auction. An account serves its owner alone, so the verb is the owner's own call: on an account the wallet owns the wallet sends it itself, and on an account the Plug account owns, which every account a creation composed with other writes opened is, it runs in the Plug account's program. Reach for it to draw leverage against deposited collateral, coiling the amount into a swap or a deposit, with a health check on the account in the same run.
