Arcadia is an onchain account for liquidity providers on Base: a smart account its owner deposits tokens and liquidity positions into, that can borrow against what it holds and hand its positions to automation that rebalances and compounds them.
Every account is its own contract, deployed by Arcadia's Factory and owned through an NFT. A Spot account holds anything and borrows nothing. A Margin account is opened against one of Arcadia's lending pools, for USDC, WETH or cbBTC, and can borrow that pool's asset against the tokens and Uniswap or Slipstream positions it holds, valued by Arcadia's own oracles; when the value it would fetch in a liquidation falls below its debt, an auction sells it down. Lenders earn the interest those accounts pay by supplying the pools' senior tranches.
Leverage on a liquidity position is a balance between the fees a range earns and the debt that funds it. The debt accrues every second, the collateral moves with the price, and a range that drifts out of the money stops earning while it keeps owing.
Every step of an account is a step in a plug. Opening one, depositing a token or a position into it, withdrawing either, borrowing against it and repaying run when a condition is met, with the amounts each step reports flowing into the next. An account opened beside other steps belongs to the Plug account, so every later step on it composes the same way; an account the wallet owns is worked by the wallet's own transactions.
Debt repaid the moment a health factor dips. Collateral topped up from a swap in the same run. A borrow drawn and deposited into a range as soon as the rate makes the carry worth it, and unwound when it stops.
Arcadia already lets an account's positions run themselves. The owners who get the most from it make the account's balance sheet run itself too.
