gTrade is Gains Network's perpetuals exchange, and on Base it trades from one contract: a long or a short on crypto, equities, currencies, indices and commodities, at up to the leverage each pair allows, with stablecoin as collateral and a vault on the other side of every trade.
A market order is placed in one transaction and filled in a later block, when the oracle network answers with the price the trade opens at; it opens only if that price sits within the slippage the trader asked for. A limit order rests on the book until the price reaches it, and a stop order until the price moves through it. Every trade carries a take profit and a stop loss the trader can move at any time, and the protocol charges its fees and its holding costs out of the collateral.
Every part of that is a step in a plug: opening a market, limit or stop order, closing all or part of a trade, adding to one, moving or cancelling a resting order, moving a take profit or a stop loss, and recovering an order the oracle never answered. The trade, the trader's counters and the pair's leverage bounds are reads, so a plug can wait for a fill, compare a trade against the market, and act the moment its condition is met.
The trades stay the wallet's. A plug trades the wallet's own book through the delegation gTrade offers every trader, so a position a plug opens is the same position the wallet sees on gTrade, closed and paid to the same wallet.
A stop loss written as a rule instead of a hope. A position that scales in as the price confirms. A close that fires before funding turns, or before the liquidation price gets close.
Leverage rewards the trader who acts on time. The ones who do are the ones whose exits are already written down.
