Reads how much of one token a Balancer pool holds in the Vault. The Vault's registered balances for the pool are fetched and the chosen token's entry is extracted in that token's units. For composable pools the pool's own BPT is among the registered tokens. Reach for it to measure a pool's depth before a large join or exit, or to compare two tokens' balances and detect an imbalance a strategy wants to exploit or avoid.
