vfat is a farming account for Aerodrome and the venues beside it: every wallet gets one Sickle, a minimal contract only that wallet controls, and vfat's strategies add liquidity, stake it in the pool's gauge, harvest the emissions and exit again through it.
The Sickle is what makes the farming composable. It sits at an address the wallet alone determines, deploys itself on the wallet's first deposit, holds the LP or the position while it farms, and pays everything it takes out back to its owner. A stable or volatile pool's LP stakes in the pool's gauge the way it would from the wallet; a Slipstream range is minted straight into a position the gauge holds; either keeps earning the gauge's AERO until the owner harvests or exits.
Farming that way is a sequence of steps that never stops needing someone. Emissions accrue every block and are only worth something once they are claimed. A range drifts out of the money and stops earning. A gauge that paid well last epoch pays less this one, and the capital in it has to move to keep up.
Every one of those steps is a plug. Depositing both of a pool's tokens, staking LP or a position the wallet already holds, harvesting what the gauge has paid, adding to or trimming a range, and exiting into the pool's tokens all run when a condition is met, with the tokens they pay out flowing straight into the next step.
Emissions harvested the moment they cross a threshold and swapped or added back in the same run. A range withdrawn and reopened around the price when it leaves the money. A farm entered with the exact tokens a swap just produced, and left the block the gauge stops paying.
The wallets that farm Aerodrome best are not the ones that check most often. They are the ones whose farms move on their own.
